Throughout a 20+ year career that progressed rapidly to executive level business management, Mr. Anschuetz has enjoyed success initiating and delivering integrated, scalable technology solutions that inform business strategy and create new economies of scale, record revenue and profit levels, dramatic cost reductions, and substantial improvements in productivity, service delivery, operational efficiencies, and customer satisfaction.
In 2008, Mr. Anschuetz joined Underwriters Laboratories (UL) as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In joining UL, Christian has been charged with making technology core to the business as it positions itself for its next 100 years in the marketplace. Christian’s vision is simple; push the business and technology to unify UL’s global operations, orient the firm around the invaluable information and intellectual property that it creates daily, and create innovative solutions that delight customers while speeding their products to market.
Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Anschuetz served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Americas region of Publicis Groupe. Throughout his seven year tenure with Publicis Groupe Christian held roles as Executive Vice President/Chief Information Officer for Groupe’s largest division (composed of scores of highly diverse business units/brands) and Senior Vice President/Chief Operations Officer in charge of integrating the newly acquired B|Com3 business and other major acquisitions into the Publicis infrastructure.
Christian began his achievement-rich career in a broad range of progressive management roles. These included Senior Consultant and Information Security thought leader for Sprint Paranet, and Senior Partner/Founder of UpTyme Consulting (management consulting firm with $1+ million revenues). He additionally brings to the table 7 years of executive discipline and leadership success as a decorated officer in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Anschuetz’s entire career is underscored by prestigious industry recognition. He is a featured thought leader and quoted authority in multiple top industry publications on such topics as governance, shared services, and IT operations, and participates in numerous industry-leading CIO summits and conferences. He has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, B.A. in Economics, and is a graduate of the Gartner CIO Academy.
